Careers
We seek individuals who thrive on ambiguity, deliverables, and the quiet satisfaction of knowing their work will likely sit in a drawer forever. If you're energized by 100-hour weeks and hotel points, you might belong here.
Why Join Us
You'll learn more in two years here than most people learn in a decade—primarily about PowerPoint, Excel, and the specific font preferences of partners. You'll also learn to function on minimal sleep and maximum caffeine, skills that will serve you well in your eventual exit to industry.
We pay well—when calculated on an hourly basis against your actual working hours, slightly above minimum wage. But the signing bonus is real, and it helps offset the therapy costs you'll incur. Performance bonuses are theoretically unlimited but practically constrained.
Our alumni network is unmatched. After two to four years of intense work, you'll be prepared to exit to a role in industry that pays more for fewer hours. We consider this a feature, not a bug—it maintains our network and ensures a steady flow of client relationships.
Having our name on your resume opens doors. At parties, you can say you "did consulting" and watch people assume you're intelligent. Your parents will finally be proud. LinkedIn recruiters will never leave you alone.

The Culture
We don't believe in work-life balance—we believe in work-life integration, which means your work will integrate into every aspect of your life. Weekends are a social construct. Your laptop is your best friend.
See the world! (Specifically, hotel conference rooms and airport lounges.) You'll accumulate enough airline miles to visit exotic destinations during the three vacation days you'll feel comfortable taking.
Advancement is purely merit-based, where "merit" is defined as a combination of billable hours, client satisfaction, and having gone to schools that partners recognize. Performance reviews are constructive, detailed, and only slightly traumatic.
"The best two years of my life were definitely not the two years I spent here. But they were the most useful for my resume."
Application Process
We'll review your resume, focusing primarily on the name of your school and any recognizable company names. Cover letters are read if they're from target schools; otherwise, they're aesthetic.
You'll solve hypothetical business problems that test your ability to structure ambiguous situations and perform mental math under pressure. The problems bear little resemblance to actual consulting work, but they're traditional.
We'll assess whether you'd be pleasant to travel with for 200+ days per year. Can you make small talk in an airport lounge? Do you have interesting hobbies you'll never have time to pursue? Great.
If selected, you'll receive an offer calibrated to be just competitive enough that you don't negotiate. Onboarding consists of two weeks of training where you'll learn our frameworks and font preferences.
